I want to add an ICP registration number at the bottom of the login page. Which file should I edit? I added a piece of code to the index.html file, but it didn't work.

[...] for adding text I would recommend trying to customize your web-vault via CSS. E.g. I added a custom disclaimer on the login page of my testing instance like this

How did you deploy Vaultwarden? The DATA_FOLDER (i.e. /data inside the container) is the folder you use to persist data. Cf. https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/wiki/Starting-a-Container#creating-the-container and https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/wiki/Changing-persistent-data-location

oh, I find it. But I follow the steps in customizing your web-vault via CSS create user.vaultwarden.scss.hbs in scss directory, then I add my custom styles to user.vaultwarden.scss.hbs files, but it still didn't work.

After restarting Vaultwarden you also have to force-reload (Ctrl+Shift+R) /css/vaultwarden.css in the browser because that file has probably been cached for the changes to take effect. (If you use a reverse proxy with some form of asset caching you also want to invalidate that otherwise reloading it might not have any effect.)

I tried the methods above, but it still didn't work, I just use a reverse proxy with nginx. When I modified index.html directly, it can work quickly.

It works on my test instance so I am not sure what you have tried or where the mistake could be given the information you have provided. Can you check if the vaultwarden process in the container can read the file? I.e. something like

docker exec vaultwarden cat /data/templates/scss/user.vaultwarden.scss.hbs

where vaultwarden refers to the name of the Vaultwarden container.
